# Hustleer's Ambition

Girl singing:
Like the fire needs the air
I won't burn unless you're there

Yea,I need you,I need you to hate
So I can use you for your energy
you know, this real shit, feel this!

[Verse 1]
America got a thing for this gangsta' shit, they love me
Black Chuckies, black skullies, leather Pelle-Pelle
I take spit over raymo shit, I'm a vandal
Got the silver duct tape on my 38. eight handle
The women in my life bring confusion and shit
SO like Nino when New Jack, I holla "cancel that bitch"
Look at me, this is the life I chose
Niggaz around me so cold, man my heart dun froze
I'll build an empire on the low the narc's don't know
I'm the weatherman
I take that cocoa leaf and make that snow
Sit back, watch it turn to dough, watch it go out the door
O after O, you know, homie I'm just triple beam, dreamin'
Niggaz be schemin', I fiend to live a good life
The fiends are just fiendin
Conceal my weapon nice and easy so you can't see
The penitentiary is definitely out the question for me..

I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)
Nigga you get in my way while I'm tryin get mine,
And I'll bump you (bump you)
I don't care who you run with, or where you from
Nigga fuck you (fuck you)
I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)

[Verse 2]
Yea, I don't know shit about gymnastics I summersault bricks
Black talons start flyin, when a nigga flip
I cook crack in the microwave, niggaz can't fuck with me
Man my cold days, they called me chef boy r 50
Check my logic, smokers don't like seeds in their weed, shit
Send me them seeds I'll grow em what they need
Them ain't chia pet plants in the crib, thats chronic
And I'm sellin 'em for 500 a pop god damn it
I sell anything I'ma hustler, I know how to grind
Step on grapes put in water and tell you it's wine
If you analyze me, what you'll find is the DNA of a crook and
What goes in my mind, its contagious
Hypnotic, it sounds melodic
If rap was the block or spider, I'll be potent product
Now get a load of me, flashy, far from low key
And you can locate me where ever that dope be, gettin money man

I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)
Nigga you get in my way while I'm tryin get mine
And I'll bump you (bump you)
I don't care who you run with, or where you from
Nigga fuck you (fuck you)
I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)

[Verse 3]
It's a hustler's ambition, close your eyes listen, see my vision
Moussberg pumpin, shotgun dumpin' the drama means nothin
It's part of the game, catch me in the coupe switchin lanes
Or in the jewler switchin chains
I upgrade from 30 Bs to clean Vs
Rocks that I copped proceeds from the spot
I got the energy to win, I'm full of adrenaline
Play the curve and get nauseous, watchin the spinner spin
I make plans to make it, a prisoner of the state
Now I can invite yo ass out to my estate
Them hollow tips bent me up, but I'm back in shape
Pour Crystal in the blender and make a protein shake
I'm like the East coast number one playboy B
Hugh Hefner'll tell you he ain't got shit on me
The feds watch me,I see they can't stop me
Racist, pointin at me look at the niggaracci

I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)
Nigga you get in my way while I'm tryin get mine
And I'll bump you (bump you)
I don't care who you run with, or where you from
Nigga fuck you (fuck you)
I want the finer things in my life
So I hustle (hustle)

The Hermit.(woodcut).

The Hermit.(woodcut).

The Hermit.
He lives on the outskirts of society,
Most people pay him no mind,
A simple hut or cave is where he dwells.
To spend time with him is to spend time with a ageless book,
The stories of hitching a ride on the box cars during the depression,
to the far out stories of the sixties.
This Hermit can tell tales like no other,
The army wouldnt accept him because of the thoughts of his mind,
Women shun him because of the way he smells,
He says he no longer has dreams of a child,
but has now accepted his lot.
To talk about politics upsets his stomach,
and causes him to swear,
but the sight of a butterfly will bring a tear to his eye.
He says as one grows old the past is all they have left.
Friends die but memories remain,
To think too much and not to do will paralyze you.
I once watched him take a book of his poems ,
that he wrote over the course of many years .
Set them on a little wooden boat that he carved by hand ,
and put them on a river to watch them sail away.
I wanted to fetch them and read them,
but he said some poems shouldn't ever be read,
They can be expressed,
but if read they could be used against one.
I smiled and left it at that.
I think of the times when I have taken him up some food,
or a little coffee,
and then he treats me like I have done the greatest of things.
I took him up a print of this woodcut,
So that is what I look like I haven't seen a mirror in years.
He said with a grin.
I will put this above my cot.
I have known him for a few years,
and still don't know his name,
maybe he is a convict or on some most wanted list,
I have tried many times to extract his real name,
only to be met with names don't matter out here in the forest,
a bird is a bird,
and a Hermit is a Hermit.
Could be a saint trying to escape the world with all its craziness.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Some of the things I seen him do with a small pocket knife,
would cause a battle worn samurai to shake his head.
Next time your driving or passing by the woods,
just remember he might be out there pitching a makeshift home,
taking a bath in the cold river,
or cooking up some wild game,
for the nights feast.
So tip your tin cup up high for the Hermit in the woods.
Just keep in mind if you want to hear stories you wont ever forget,
pay a visit to the man in the hills.
It will only cost you a can of beans to spend time with my friend,
that loves to be called,
The Hermit.
